Any manufacturing company can enter any of the Made in Elk Grove Manufacturing & Technology Business Excellence Award categories by submitting an entry form by August 26, 2016. Multiple nominations may be submitted by a single manufacturing enterprise, but each must be for a different category. No single enterprise may win more than one EGV Business Excellence Award.
Manufacturing enterprises are establishments engaged in the mechanical, physical, or chemical transformation of materials, substances, or components into new products. The assembling of component parts of manufactured products is considered manufacturing. Establishments in the Manufacturing sector are often described as plants, factories, or mills and characteristically use power-driven machines and materials-handling equipment.
EGV Business Excellence Award winners are selected based on evaluations by judges. One winner will be designated for each of the three award categories.
Finalists for the EGV Business Excellence Awards will be identified and contacted on September 19, 2016 by the judges. Winners will be announced and honored at the exhibitor luncheon on October 10, 2016 at the Made in Elk Grove Manufacturing & Technology Expo. Winners need to be present in order to receive an award.
Judges reserve the right to place nominations in appropriate categories. All information provided on the nomination forms is considered private and will only be used by the EGV Business Excellence Awards research staff and judges.
The EGV Business Excellence Awards judges may draw on the information in preparing profiles of award winners, but inclusion of nomination form information in these profiles will be subject to the approval of the winning companies.
